Nepenthe hail from Kansas City, Missouri, and play bizarre and demented death metal. This demo is their first offering in their very limited discography, and features 3 original tracks plus a live track I was able to find as well. Alex Blume (who more recently appears in Ares Kingdom) plays bass in this band. Like fellow Kansas City death metal freaks Order From Chaos, Nepenthe strives on originality, and the maniac vocals here certainly help with that fact.
