Nucleosynthesis was started by two friends and musicians who want to expose some of their favourite music for others to check out. We are into a diverse array of music, including death/black metal, doom metal, hardcore, heavy metal, punk, grindcore, progressive rock, etc. It is our hope that this blog will expose releases that are hard to find, out of print, or just underrated. We also encourage you to buy music from artists you like, and support your local scene.

All music found on this blog is externally hosted. We are musicians who embrace the technological age and feel that exposing underground music for download will only contribute the number of fans interested in purchasing these bands' merchandise and attending their shows. If you are an artist who wants their material removed, we will gladly take it down. Likewise, we will post your band if you contact us.
